About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7pm-7am) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down experience License: Current Registered Nurse license in the state Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association Must-Have: 1-year critical care or step-down experience Current Registered Nurse license in the state Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association Description: Responsible for the care of patients who meet the medical step-down level of care. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down experience. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must maintain a high standard of patient care and adhere to all safety protocols. Effective communication skills are essential for collaboration with the healthcare team. Flexibility to work holiday and weekend rotations is required.
