The Insurance Agent plays a key role in delivering expert insurance guidance and personalized service to clients. This position requires strong industry knowledge, customer service acumen, and a proactive approach to meeting client needs. The Insurance Agent is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with policyholders, identifying insurance needs, and recommending appropriate solutions to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

This role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site presence at our Lehi, UT office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.
• Handle incoming lead calls to assess customer needs, cross-sell and upsell products, and present tailored insurance solutions.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring resolution of policy and claims-related issues.
• Stay informed about company products and industry best practices to provide current and relevant information to clients.
• Assist with policy changes, renewals, and claims inquiries, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and enhance client experiences.
• Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on insurance products and industry trends.

Essential Functions

• Communicate clearly and professionally across various channels (phone, email, chat) to resolve customer inquiries.
• Maintain active insurance licenses and complete ongoing education requirements.
• Accurately document client interactions, policy updates, and service resolutions.
• Analyze client needs and recommend insurance products that meet regulatory and organizational standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively by meeting deadlines and managing workload efficiently.
• Maintain professional interaction with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Resident Insurance Producer License required (may be obtained post-offer, prior to start date).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated success in cross-selling and maintaining a client portfolio.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
• Experience with insurance software and CRM systems
• Knowledge of property management or real estate industry
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish for enhanced customer support capabilities
• Demonstrates success in cross-selling insurance products and maintaining an assigned book of business

AI & Operational Fluency

• AI Integration: Utilize company-approved GenAI tools to accelerate high-value deliverables.
• Strategic Oversight: Exercise critical judgment as the "Human-in-the-Loop," by auditing AI outputs for factual accuracy, brand alignment, and the removal of hallucinations.
• Data Governance: Ensures no proprietary or Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data is exposed to unauthorized models.
• Prompt Competency: Demonstrates the ability to craft clear, context-rich prompts to achieve consistent, high-quality results across various business domains.

$20.10 - $31.54 an hour

This band covers the full salary range for the role. Your offer within this range will depend on factors like experience, skills, and internal equity.
