Billing Specialist

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: BILLING SPECIALIST IN RANCHO CORDOVA, CA Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Billing Specialist to join our team in Rancho Cordova, California. This individual will be responsible for supporting the accounting and billing functions of the Logistics Billing department. The ideal candidate will possess 1–2 years of relevant work experience, strong organizational and time-management skills, and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $20/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Full time hours Located in Rancho Cordova, California Duties and Responsibilities Process interline payables Process accounts receivable transactions Process accounts payable transactions Review and verify billing charges for accuracy Maintain and track documentation related to assigned carrier loads, including agreed-upon carrier rates, customer rates, and applicable fees Complete three-way matching verification as part of the invoice payment process Review invoices and check requests for accuracy and completeness Sort and match invoices with corresponding check requests and supporting documentation Prepare and submit invoices for approval and payment Perform payment reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records Research and resolve invoice and billing discrepancies Correspond with vendors and respond to billing and payment inquiries Maintain organized and accurate billing and accounting documentation Meet established deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy Requirements and Qualifications 1–2 years of relevant work experience required Minimum of 6 months of experience using TruckMate software required Strong organizational and time-management skills Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to work accurately and effectively under strict deadlines Previous experience with logistics, transportation, billing, accounts payable, or accounts receivable is preferred Strong computer skills required Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience with TruckMate software Ability to communicate and interact effectively with employees and management at all levels of the organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to review financial and billing information, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues accurately and efficiently Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting established deadlines Ability to lift up to 10 pounds Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Ability to walk throughout the facility and climb stairs as needed Ability to work in areas where temperatures may vary ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNEL Accurate Personnel has provided temporary job services and direct hire searches for 45 years.
