Responsibilities: Process and submit medical claims to insurance carriers accurately and in a timely manner Review and post insurance payments, adjustments, and patient payments (EOB/ERA processing) Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and appeals to ensure maximum reimbursement Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries, balances, and payment plans Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical billing best practices Maintain accurate patient account records within the practice management system Schedule appointments Coordinate product arrival Requirements: Prior experience in medical billing, coding, or healthcare revenue cycle management preferred Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT coding, and Medicare DME billing.
