Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend | Holidays Required | Schedule may vary based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation across a 35-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices with a patient ratio of 1:6–7
• Provide care for a diverse patient population including Med Surg, remote telemetry, orthopedic, post-op, CHF, and respiratory cases
• Administer medications using bedside scanning technology
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Float between Med Surg and Telemetry departments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting
• Minimum 2 completed travel assignments required
• Recent Cerner EMR charting experience required
• Experience with Med Surg patients and remote telemetry monitoring required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic, post-operative, CHF, or respiratory patient populations
• Familiarity with bedside medication scanning workflows
• Demonstrated ability to float between units in a fast-paced acute care environment
