Responsibilities
- Deliver direct ICU nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage ICU devices as applicable
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; document progress and update care plans accordingly
- Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across multiple levels, applying critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and communicate changes promptly to the team

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license, with eligibility to practice in California
- ICU or critical care nursing experience required; recent or relevant experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work nights on a 3x12-hour shift schedule
- Proficient in basic ICU procedures, bedside monitoring, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Adaptability to a fast-paced inpatient environment and to a travel assignment format
