DescriptionKforce has a client in need of a Java Developer in Boston, MA.Responsibilities:* Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications using modern software engineering practices* Collaborate with business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions* Build and enhance application components, services, and APIs while following established development standards* Participate in Agile development activities, including planning, development, testing, and production support* Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support deployment activities* Contribute to automation, continuous integration, and software quality improvement initiatives* Follow risk, security, and compliance requirements while maintaining reliable application performanceRequirements* 3+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments* Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and object-oriented programming principles* Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data access technologies* Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and caching technologies* Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD practices* Understanding of software testing, application security, and scalable system design* Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsJob TypeContractCompensation55 - $62
