As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician you are responsible for: Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and automated manufacturing equipment. Troubleshooting motors, motor controls, VFDs, starters, PLCs, sensors, instrumentation, and power distribution systems up to 480V. Performing preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and production machinery. Diagnosing electrical malfunctions and completing repairs quickly to minimize downtime. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Using testing equipment such as multimeters, amp clamps, and megohmmeters to inspect and diagnose electrical systems. Ensuring all work complies with NEC standards, company policies, and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures. Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Maintaining maintenance records and documenting repairs and inspections. Collaborating with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to support plant operations. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assisting with facility and building modifications as needed. The ideal candidate will have: At least 3 years of industrial electrician or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Knowledge of NEC codes, electrical safety standards, and LOTO procedures. Experience working with 24V, AC/DC, 110V, and 480V systems. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Basic computer skills for maintenance records and technical documentation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments including heights, confined spaces, heat, dust, and noise.
