Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm seeking a Partner level Corporate Transactions Attorney to join its New York NY office.

This is a senior transactional role focused on complex cross border corporate matters for multinational clients, with an emphasis on running deals, coordinating stakeholders, and driving disciplined execution through signing and closing.

The Opportunity

You will lead and manage complex cross border transactions including carve outs, spin offs, post acquisition integrations, global expansions, and legal entity rationalizations. The work includes drafting and negotiating core transaction documents such as stock and asset purchase agreements, coordinating input from local counsel and internal specialists, and synthesizing high volume comments to keep deals moving efficiently.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a Partner level Corporate Transactions Attorney with:

• Admission to the New York Bar
• At least 5 years of experience as an attorney at a global law firm
• At least 5 years advising, coordinating, and executing complex cross border transactions
• Demonstrated experience running cross border deals as the lead associate or matter lead
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across complex deal documents and ancillary agreements

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this role is $274,248 to $480,000, depending on class year, experience and other relevant factors.
