The Child Care Director will lead the administration of a center-based child care program serving all age groups. Reporting to the owner, this role will oversee regulatory readiness, staff retention, and program quality while fostering a safe, engaging environment for children and families.

 

Responsibilities

• Administer daily operations for a center-based child care program serving all age groups.
• Supervise, support, and retain child care staff.
• Manage child enrollment processes and maintain strong family engagement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and ongoing regulatory readiness.
• Oversee safety practices and promote a secure facility environment.
• Coordinate staff training and support program quality initiatives.
• Coordinate facility needs and operational activities with the owner.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in child care administration.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• State Child Care Director credential or equivalent.
