What you will have an opportunity to do: Assisting the Spa Director in managing the operation of the spa and the spa staff. Managing day-to-day activities of the spa. Promoting teamwork and motivation through daily communication. Ensuring prompt response and follow up to guest's needs. Assisting in hiring, planning, scheduling, and organizing staff to ensure proper coverage. Following through with new employees to ensure proper paperwork is complete and guide the new employee through the orientation process. Managing and monitoring Spa Attendants. Managing all aspects of inventory to include purchasing, maintaining retail and back-bar products as well as monthly reporting. Assisting in managing the spa budget, payroll and labor costs. Ensuring that Chatham Bars Inn Standards are adhered to including Forbes, Preferred, and AAA. Ensuring that all staff are properly trained and that they have the tools and products to effectively carry out their daily tasks. Communicating and enforcing policies and procedures. Overseeing the development and implementation of internal training. Assisting in the design and formulation of protocols (Standard Operating Procedures). Scheduling and organizing staff treatment rooms to ensure proper coverage and optimal use. Point of contact for all Spa parties and groups. Additional duties requested by the Spa Director.
