Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Study, understand, and follow assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, job travelers, facility procedures, and parts list 
• Operating automatic equipment or hand solder for surface mount and mixed-technology boards 
• Visually inspecting printed circuit boards for defects 
• Report assembly, equipment, material, and/or quality problems to Manager to obtain additional resources or direction 
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations 
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms 
• Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks, or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed 
• Align, fit and assemble component parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, microscopes and soldering equipment. 
• Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures 
• Other tasks as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

• Experience in assembling printed circuit boards and/or surface mount 
• Skilled at identifying components via component identification and color codes 
• Ability to read and interrupt schematics and assembly documents 
• Performing automated and manual testing of PCB’s 
• Oral and written communication skills for a team environment 
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance 
• Detail oriented, organized, analytical Hand soldering 
• Knowledge of through hole and surface mount technology required 
• Experience with QUAD Pick & Place machines a plus 
• High School diploma or equivalent
