Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Home Health

• Assessing and implementing care plans for health maintenance and disease prevention
• Supervising care plans and staff as per assignment
• Observing, assessing, and evaluating nursing support for individuals
• Coordinating communications related to health and safety supports
• Managing medication orders, storage, and policies
• Reporting to physicians and ensuring documentation accuracy
• Supervising LPNs and vocational nurses as needed
• Providing training for new employees and unlicensed staff

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Home Health

• Active NC RN license
• Experience in Home care/Hospice, HCHB, OASIS
• Ability to conduct 20-25 visits a week
• Flexibility to be on call 1-2 nights a week and rotate every 3rd weekend
