Registered Nurse Float Pool, Per Diem

Position Overview Registered Nurse – Float Pool – Per Diem. Provides 24/7 clinical excellence for Med/Surge adult populations on float pool units. Job Responsibilities Deliver nursing care in Med/Surg, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education of patients. Communicate with health‑care team members, patients, and families. Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to inter‑professional colleagues. Update and manage patient records. Enter and interpret computerized data/information. Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCHS nursing organization. Assist the leadership team with quality‑improvement projects as needed. Job Requirements Licensed to practice nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 1+ year RN experience preferred. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required in certain units. Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred). Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years. Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty; certifications required for certain practice areas. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Physical ability to meet job responsibilities. Basic computer proficiency. Fluency in another language a plus. Compensation & Benefits Compensation range: $39.80 – $93.69 per hour.
