About the Company

Our client, an investment firm started by an industry veteran with a strong history of building and running insurance companies, is looking for a VP of Finance. This is a great opportunity to join an Addison, Texas based firm of 300 employees with over 24 operating companies and work directly with the founder and CFO.

About the Role

This person will oversee the financial planning for the organization as well as assist with acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a scalable FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and KPI reporting
• Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership and operating teams
• Lead financial support for buy‑side and sell‑side transactions, including Quality of Earnings processes
• Develop and maintain financial models for growth initiatives, capital allocation, and profitability analysis
• Drive management reporting, variance analysis, and performance optimization

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience
• Transaction services and/or business development experience required
• Financial Planning and Analysis experience required
• Consulting and/or Big 4 experience a plus
