Physical Therapist Assistant

Encompass Health seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant for our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you’ll deliver evidence-based therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist, helping patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other serious illnesses regain function and independence. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, leading therapeutic exercises and mobility training, documenting progress, and educating patients and families. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment that values clinical excellence, compassion, and work–life balance.
