At RK Industries, you'll serve as a key field leader responsible for overseeing large-scale construction operations, coordinating multiple crews and subcontractors, and driving project performance from preconstruction through final turnover. Working closely with Project Managers, customers, vendors, and field leadership teams, you'll play a critical role in workforce planning, productivity management, safety performance, quality execution, and customer satisfaction.

You'll have the opportunity to influence project strategy, mentor field personnel, and optimize operations through planning, scheduling, prefabrication, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Lead

• Oversee daily field operations, workforce planning, and project execution activities
• Lead and coordinate craft professionals, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership teams
• Develop and execute a comprehensive project "Master Plan" to support successful project delivery
• Manage scheduling activities and ensure work is performed in alignment with project milestones and objectives
• Execute, supervise, and maintain CPM scheduling and project planning initiatives
• Coordinate daily and weekly work activities to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Requisition, manage, and track project tools, materials, and equipment
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship quality, and equipment supplier execution
• Coordinate required inspections and maintain strong relationships with project authorities and inspectors
• Review labor hours, productivity reports, and project cost information with Project Management on a regular basis
• Optimize project opportunities through workforce planning, prefabrication strategies, construction technology, and efficient scheduling practices
• Assist Project Management with project schedules, labor resource planning, and budget allocation strategies
• Maintain complete and accurate project documentation in accordance with company standards
• Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and professional development for field personnel
• Review and approve workforce timekeeping and cost coding activities
• Drive project quality, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction initiatives
• Manage project turnover activities, punch list completion, owner training, demobilization, and project closeout efforts
• Support operational excellence through continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Strong leadership experience managing construction field operations and large project teams
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling, workforce planning, productivity management, and project execution
• Demonstrated success leading commercial, industrial, or mechanical construction projects
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, labor management, cost control, and resource planning
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced, complex project environments
• Strong understanding of safety requirements, quality standards, and construction best practices
• Proven ability to develop talent, mentor field personnel, and build high-performing teams
• Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement

Ideal for experienced construction leaders responsible for overseeing major project operations, workforce management, and field execution.

• 10+ years of construction leadership experience
• Responsible for a department, operational function, or significant project portfolio
• Leads field operations and workforce planning activities
• Makes important decisions impacting project outcomes, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Demonstrates strong business judgment, leadership capability, and operational expertise
• College degree or equivalent combination of experience and technical knowledge preferred

General Superintendent 3

Designed for senior construction leaders responsible for large-scale operations, strategic initiatives, and organizational leadership.

• 15+ years of extensive construction leadership experience
• Serves as a company leader with broad operational influence
• Responsible for programs and initiatives critical to company objectives
• Participates in business strategy development and execution
• Leads managers, field leaders, and large operational teams
• Makes high-level decisions with significant impact on organizational performance
• Demonstrates exceptional leadership, planning, business acumen, and strategic thinking
• Advanced education or equivalent combination of industry experience and leadership expertise preferred
