General Manager Panera Cafe

As a Panera General Manager, you lead an amazing team and a popular neighborhood bakery-cafe to success. You own ultimate accountability for the success of your bakery-cafe by making key decisions and solving problems. You help uphold the Warmth, Belonging, Growth, and Trust of Panera with your team.

Responsibilities

• Build a culture of Warmth, Belonging, Growth, and Trust; be an ambassador of Panera\'s Guiding Values and Behaviors
• Ensure extraordinary guest experiences and customer satisfaction with high-quality food, service, staff, and safety measures
• Develop and manage your team: plan staffing, scheduling, coaching, development, and succession planning
• Lead cafe operations through ongoing training, including people development, planning and prioritization, and creative problem solving
• Hire, train, motivate, and engage team members; recognize and celebrate achievements
• Maintain high standards of operations, continuously improving Panera\'s standards of excellence
• Adhere to cafe systems and processes to accomplish day-to-day operations; follow company policies and regulations
• Coach team members to ensure adherence to operational standards and food safety
• Grow sales and maximize profitability; manage labor, costs, and inventory
• Build subject matter experts within the cafe by developing managers and associates and delegating responsibilities

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience (preferred)
• Proven ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to drive positive results and run great shifts
• Demonstrated understanding of the business
• ServSafe certification
• At least 18 years of age
