Position Summary: The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and optimizing all production activities to ensure efficient and on time fulfillment. This role works closely with production/repair, procurement, quality, sales, and logistics teams to align resources, meet customer demand, reduce costs, and maximize overall productivity. Build authentic, trusted relationships that promote collaboration, inclusion, and a culture that lives our values every day (Integrity, Dependability, Connection, Action, Growth) Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability Coordinate with internal teams (operations, sales, procurement) to ensure schedule adherence and resolve scheduling conflicts Monitor progress of fulfillment orders, identifying bottlenecks and proactively addressing potential delays Analyze capacity, material requirements, and labor allocations to optimize work flow and reduce downtime Communicate regularly with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components Update and maintain production planning tools and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data Prepare reports on operations performance, schedule attainment, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining production planning and scheduling processes Ensure all scheduling activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Minimum Skills, Abilities, and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in operations management or supply chain or a relevant field, or the equivalent amount of training and hands‑on experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position 2+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, or a similar role within an order fulfillment or operations environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast‑paced environment Strong business acumen and ability to think holistically to support fulfillment Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, professionally, and persuasively Creative, and results oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with others to identify and solve issues, make proactive recommendations, and lead through influence Proven track record of supporting continuous improvement projects Self‑directed and punctual work style, able to work autonomously, prioritize to meet deadlines and deliver results Ability to travel nationally to Trafera service centers or other locations when necessary Technology and Systems: Proficient in production planning and scheduling software such as what? Proficient in ERP, such as Infor Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Work Environment, Physical, and Mental Demands: Incumbents in this role will perform their work both in an office/warehouse environment and interact with team members throughout the facility in both office and warehouse environments and working remote utilizing connected devices, video conferencing, phone calls, text or chat messaging. The office environment includes exposure to moderate noise levels typically associated with an indoor office facility. While performing the duties of this position, incumbents may be expected to do any of the following, with or without accommodation: Stand or sit at their desk or workstation for long periods Effectively use computer keyboard, mobile device, desktop computer, laptop, calculator, telephone, copy machine and other business tools or controls Mental focus on tasks and apply sound reasoning and judgement Review documents, monitors or displays with potentially small print Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, face shields, hard hats, masks, gloves or other PPE if required Move through the office facility and production warehouse facility on potentially uneven or slippery surface Follow all safety protocols and respond to safety control noises or alarms such as fire alarm, forklifts horns, and machinery alerts Reach under, over, above or around desks, machinery or other objects such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing to perform work Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 10 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment The typical workdays and hours for the organization vary depending on the role being performed and business needs. This role has a hybrid work style typically Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm working onsite at a facility and remotely. This role is classified as full-time exempt (salaried) and work is expected to be delivered within established deadlines and quality standards without regard to the typical working days or hours noted above.
