Overview
Registered Nurse | MICU travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Start date: October 5, 2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,770 to $1,894 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 12x3 schedule. This is a hospital-based ICU travel position designed to provide skilled care for critically ill adults in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adult patients in the MICU, including monitoring vital signs, hemodynamics, and ventilator status.
- Administer prescribed medications and infusions, manage IV access, and perform related procedures within scope of practice.
- Interpret clinical data, respond to changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns to the charging or attending physician as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, respiratory, pharmacy, and physicians) to implement care plans and ensure timely rounds and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and thorough charting in the electronic health record (Cerner or equivalent) and ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning input, and ensure a patient-centered approach consistent with standards of care.

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MICU/medical ICU experience
- Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS required
- Preferred but not required: CCRN certification; Cerner ICU charting experience
- Licensure: Current RN license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction (Georgia or as applicable)
- Additional: Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU setting and comply with unit policies and procedures
