Overview
Registered Nurse – MICU travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date 10/05/2026 for a 13-week engagement. Weekly pay range $1,773–$1,848, with guaranteed hours at 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights, 12x3 schedule. Unit: hospital Medical ICU / COVID ICU with Cerner EMR. Note: No local candidates within 50 miles.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, continuous nursing care for critically ill adults in the MICU/COVID ICU, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator support as indicated.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, titrate vasoactive infusions, and monitor for adverse effects.
- Perform focused patient assessments, interpret monitors and labs, and respond promptly to clinical changes.
- Document care, assessments, and interventions in the Cerner EMR; communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to ensure patient safety, quality care, and readiness for transfer or escalation of care.
- Adhere to infection control practices, safety standards, and unit holiday scheduling requirements as applicable.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the MICU or equivalent critical care setting
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Cerner EMR experience on a critical care unit is preferred
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and 12x3 schedule
- Must be able to meet unit expectations regarding holiday coverage and high-acuity care
