Job Title: Pharmacy Technician 2 (Fulfillment)
Location: Mechanicsville, VA (On-site)
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr (trainee) | $17.50/hr (licensed)

Job Summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Pharmacy Technician 2 (Fulfillment) to support prescription preparation and distribution in a high-volume pharmacy environment. You’ll work with the fulfillment system, help resolve prescription exceptions, and support patient/physician communications as needed.

Schedule

Hours: Sunday thru Tuesday and Thursday 5am to 3pm EST

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and distribution of prescription drug products using the fulfillment system
Process prescription exceptions (e.g., claim rejects, member outreach, physician outreach)
Enter member demographics and prescription information into the system
Research and resolve rejected insurance billing and escalated member issues
Escalate clinical/prescription interpretation questions to the Pharmacist as needed
Support inbound/outbound calls with patients or physician offices
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma (or equivalent)
2–4 years Pharmacy Technician experience
Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by Virginia/state of operation
Basic computer skills
