Job Title

Student Manager for HUM 106 and HUM Lobby

Job Description

The student will work with the other 106 Managers to set up, record, and break down all chairs, stands, equipment, and large instruments (e.g., piano) for performances in HUM 106 and the HUM lobby. Recordings will be created, remastered, and sent to participants, as well as uploaded to OneDrives Music archives. The 106 Manager will also run the house during performances by providing the welcome announcement, ensuring that no food or drinks are permitted in the performance area, and performing other related duties as needed. Managers may also be requested to create and edit programs for UWG Music events.

Required Qualifications

Must be enrolled at UWG in a minimum of 6 credit hours Must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA Current UWG music major or minor Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions The ability to move around the office and lift up to 25lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience organizing people and equipment, as well as working with a variety of instruments and ensembles.

The student should have a strong work ethic and be able to perform assigned duties in a professional manner. The student should have good verbal and written communication skills, be able to use critical thinking to complete assigned tasks, be punctual, and take appropriate care of all UWG equipment and resources.
