Personal Injury / Litigation Paralegal

ARC Group is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal for an established Personal Injury Firm in Tampa, FL. This firm is growing and looking for someone with personal injury litigation to join its team. They offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and values a work/life balance. This opportunity requires you to have extensive personal injury litigation experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing files for mediation, including a medical billing spreadsheet, tasking the assistant to order updated billing and records
• Acting as a liaison among all parties including a court or other neutrals for scheduling and sharing information
• Organizing and managing documents, including the creation of spreadsheets and retrieval systems
• Coordinating the collection, review, and production of documents and responding to discovery requests
• Assisting with trial preparation including the assembly of exhibits, witness binders, and appendices for depositions and court filings
• Summarizing deposition and trial transcripts and exhibits
• Must be able to schedule depositions, mediation, court deadlines, manage clients, etc.
• Monitoring compliance with court-imposed deadlines, especially witness and expert witness lists. Preparing those lists and serving complaints
• Preparing and serving proposals for settlement

Qualifications needed for the Paralegal role:

• Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
• 3 years personal injury experience including knowledge of personal injury litigation
• Experience with trial preparation, trial execution, and post-trial work
• Knowledge of E-Filing
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word & Microsoft Outlook
• Must be familiar with the state and federal filing systems.
