General Manager

L'industrie Pizzeria is hiring a General Manager to run our West Village location, one of the busiest pizza shops in New York City. You will own every part of the shop — team, guest experience, operations and P&L — at a pace few locations anywhere can match.

This role is for a seasoned operator with years of corporate, high-volume management experience who stays calm under pressure and builds teams that perform during the rush, every day.

What you'll do

• Lead all day-to-day operations of a high-volume, high-visibility location open long hours, 7 days a week
• Own the full P&L: sales growth, labor, food cost, waste and controllable expenses, with weekly reporting to leadership
• Hire, train, schedule and develop a large team of managers, cooks and front-of-house staff; build a bench of future leaders
• Keep speed of service and product quality consistent through peak weekend, late-night and holiday rushes
• Deliver a guest experience that protects the L'industrie name for locals and visitors alike
• Maintain full compliance with NYC Department of Health, labor and safety requirements; keep the shop inspection-ready at all times
• Manage inventory, ordering and vendor relationships
• Roll out company standards, systems and new initiatives, and give feedback from the floor to the corporate team
• Handle escalations, incidents and staffing gaps quickly and professionally

What you bring

Required

• 6+ years of restaurant management experience, including 5+ years as a General Manager or equivalent with a corporate, multi-unit restaurant group
• Proven success running high-volume, quick-service or fast-casual locations 
• Strong P&L ownership, with a record of hitting sales, labor and cost targets
• Experience leading and developing large hourly teams and multiple managers
• Working knowledge of NYC health code and labor law; NYC Food Protection Certificate DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE.
• Fully flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Calm, decisive leadership in a fast, crowded, high-pressure environment

Nice to have

• Experience running a high-volume Manhattan location
• Pizza or bakery operations background

Compensation & benefits

Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 per year, based on experience.
