Accounting Clerk (Temp To Hire)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Bedford, OH. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term growth. If you have strong data entry skills and a foundation in accounting, we'd love to hear from you!
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: 3040 hours per week, MondayFriday
- Shift Options: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (flexible within reason)
- Pay Rate: $20$22/hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Enter weekly invoices accurately into the Accounts Payable system
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Prepare weekly vendor payments
- Assist with weekly audits of store locations
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Support accounting team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred, or 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Experience with accounting systems (MS Dynamics or Great Plains a plus)
- 10-key and high-volume data entry experience preferred
- Ability to pass a background check.
