Our organization is in search of Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) to provide care for patients at our facility in Farmington, Maine. This role involves Advanced Practice Providers (APP) assessing and treating patients primarily on the hospital medicine ward, as well as managing admissions and offering consultative services to various specialties, including the emergency department. The APP will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, nursing staff, care management, and ancillary services to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Practitioners will also engage in quality improvement initiatives within the hospital medicine department. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule that includes weekend and holiday shifts. We welcome applications from new graduates.

Work Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts; daytime hours (7 AM to 5 PM) with potential swing shifts (9 AM to 7 PM).
• Opportunities for both part-time and full-time positions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current licensure from the State of Maine or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience in hospital medicine is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities.
• Capability to effectively triage, organize, and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
