Program Specialist II

Providing dedicated support to patients and doctors, the full-time Program Specialist II will assist with benefit coverage, payments, reimbursements, and general inquiries in a remote capacity, requiring weekend availability and flexible scheduling. Key responsibilities Deliver personalized support via phone and online portal, addressing insurance benefit inquiries and payment issues Assist with prior authorization processes and benefit verifications while maintaining accurate records and logs Respond to customer inquiries and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure complete patient enrollment and insurance information Required qualifications High School Diploma with 4 years of experience or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Experience in customer service or call center operations is preferred Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills
