Teacher Aide – Job Description
As a Teacher Aide, you will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting teachers with daily classroom activities
- Supervising and supporting children during play and learning activities
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Assisting children with daily routines and transitions
- Supporting individual children with patience and encouragement
- Preparing classroom materials and activities
- Working cooperatively with teachers and other staff
- Helping create a warm and positive experience for every child

- Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Details
Job Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available
- Full-time: 8-hour shifts
- Part-time: 3+ hours per day
Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
Location: On-site; telework not available
