Job Title: Outside Sales Specialist

Onsite/Remote: Parsippany

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50,000-$55,000 (OTE $75,000-$85,000)

Position Overview:

The Outside Sales Specialist will proactively develop new business within an assigned territory through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and in-person meetings. This role requires a hunter mentality, strong communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with decision-makers. The specialist will manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and closing.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and generate new business opportunities daily
• Conduct cold calls and networking to identify potential clients
• Meet with business owners and decision-makers in person to assess needs
• Present service solutions tailored to client requirements
• Create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new accounts
• Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records in CRM software
• Collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding
• Meet or exceed weekly sales activity and revenue targets
• Participate in ongoing training and coaching to improve sales effectiveness

Required Experience/Skills:

• Proven outside sales or B2B sales experience
• Strong hunter mentality with a proactive prospecting approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify and engage decision-makers effectively
• Comfortable with cold calling and managing a numbers-driven environment
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and persistence
• Ability to follow structured training and coaching programs
• Proficiency with CRM software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
• Professional and prepared demeanor in client interactions

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Familiarity with territory management and quota-driven roles
• Ability to deliver presentations and negotiate contracts confidently
• Previous success in meeting or exceeding sales targets

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
