About Discovr AI

Discovr AI is building an AI-native alternative to traditional influencer marketing agencies, using AI agents to automate creator discovery, outreach, campaign execution, and measurement.

We work with brands including Wispr Flow, Emergent, Odoo, Invideo AI, and Kotak. We’re expanding our US business across D2C, consumer AI, and edtech.

The role

We’re looking for a proactive business development professional to generate opportunities, build buyer relationships, and help close new US customers alongside our founders.

You will take ownership of prospecting and deal follow-through, with founder support on strategy, complex proposals, and commercial negotiations. Our India-based team will support account research and prospecting operations.

What you’ll do

• Identify suitable US brands and relevant decision-makers using agreed qualification criteria.
• Work with our research team to build focused prospect lists.
• Start conversations through personalized outreach, referrals, and relevant professional networks.
• Qualify opportunities based on current programs, business objectives, budgets, and timing.
• Run initial discovery calls and bring founders into qualified opportunities.
• Explain Discovr’s creator marketing offerings and identify relevant customer needs.
• Coordinate proposals, gather required inputs, and manage follow-ups.
• Progress opportunities toward paid engagements, with founder support on negotiations and closing.
• Keep CRM records accurate, with clear next steps and ownership.
• Document customer requirements for a smooth handoff to delivery.

What we’re looking for

• 2–3 years of relevant business development or consultative sales experience.
• Experience selling marketing services or creator-related solutions to US brands.
• Evidence of personally generating qualified opportunities and contributing to closed deals.
• Familiarity with influencer marketing, creator partnerships, performance creative, affiliate marketing, or paid social.
• Confidence speaking with founders, marketing managers, and growth teams.
• Strong outreach writing, organization, and consistent follow-through.
• Ability to take ownership while seeking support when needed.
• Comfortable working directly with founders in an evolving sales environment.

Additional advantages

• Experience with US D2C brands.
• Exposure to consumer AI, software, or edtech buyers.
• Experience selling retainers or ongoing marketing programs.
• Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools.
