What You'll Do

The BCBA will oversee individualized ABA treatment while providing strong clinical leadership to assigned staff and families.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct assessments and reassessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Develop and modify Behavior Intervention Plans
• Provide direct supervision and clinical direction to RBTs/BTs
• Conduct in-person supervision and client observations
• Analyze data and make clinically appropriate program modifications
• Provide caregiver training
• Complete required clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with families, schools, SLPs, OTs, physicians, and other providers as appropriate
• Train and mentor clinical staff
• Ensure treatment is ethical, medically necessary, individualized, and consistent with BACB standards and payer requirements
• Maintain timely communication with families and the CABATS clinical/administrative team

In-Person BCBAs Are Rewarded

We believe strong clinical oversight includes actually seeing clients, observing technicians, modeling interventions, and supporting families in real time.

BCBAs who maintain consistent in-person availability are eligible for a higher compensation structure for qualifying in-person visits.

We are particularly interested in BCBAs who can provide regular in-person support at our Manassas and/or Springfield clinics.

Hybrid work may still be available for appropriate responsibilities, including treatment planning, documentation, data analysis, caregiver consultation, and other approved activities.

Qualifications

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Eligible for or currently holding required Virginia licensure
• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
• Experience developing and overseeing ABA treatment programs
• Strong clinical judgment and data-analysis skills
• Experience supervising RBTs/BTs
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary providers
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and high-quality ABA services
