Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year, working with a supportive district near Redford, MI. This role offers the chance to make a substantial impact, moving beyond traditional testing to become a vital resource for students, educators, and families throughout the academic year.

You’ll collaborate across one to two school buildings, providing expert assessment, intervention, and advocacy, all while promoting students’ mental health and well-being within a positive school environment. With five buildings in the district and a team-oriented atmosphere, your expertise will be valued as you help shape whole-child support strategies.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification (open to out-of-state candidates willing to obtain MI licensure prior to the school year)
• Strong foundation in psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Collaborative approach to developing and implementing intervention plans
• Experience in school settings preferred, with flexibility and openness to broader duties beyond assessment

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning
• Partner with staff and families to identify needs and design individualized interventions
• Provide consultation and support to educators and contribute to team-based solutions
• Participate in problem-solving meetings, assist with MTSS initiatives, and promote mental health awareness campus-wide
• Serve as an onsite advocate for student success
