Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience in school-based special education settings
• Strong understanding of IEP process, IDEA, and pertinent federal/state legislation
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills
• Competency in training/mentoring school staff

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate IEP and Manifestation Determination meetings onsite
• Support compliance with timelines and regulations for IEPs and evaluations
• Partner with special education teams, SATs, and administrators to develop effective interventions
• Provide training to staff on IEP requirements and special education processes
• Report trends and recommend improvements to leadership
• Support staff and ensure high standards for student success
• Additional duties as assigned
