ABOUT METROCREST SERVICES Metrocrest Services exists to provide hope and build pathways to economic mobility for neighbors in the north Dallas area. THE OPPORTUNITY As a Coaching Specialist, you will play a unique dual role that combines direct neighbor coaching with operational support for Metrocrest's coaching team. You will maintain your own caseload while helping ensure the day-to-day coordination, documentation, scheduling, and systems that allow the coaching pool to operate effectively. Working closely with the Coaching Manager, you will help create consistency across coaching practices, support fellow coaches with resources and operational guidance, and ensure accurate data that demonstrates the impact of our work. This role primarily works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM –5:00 PM with occasional weekends and evenings based on program needs Requirements KEY TRAITS Managing Work Quality Orientation Coaching Building Trust Contributing to Team Success Follow-Up Continuous Learning Adaptability Customer Focus Initiating Action QUALIFYING TRAITS Culturally humble and equity-minded; understands that the populations?served by Metrocrest Services face systemic barriers that require team members who can hold both empathy and accountability at once Equally comfortable in the operational details of coaching administration and in the relational work of carrying a neighbor caseload, moves fluidly between both without losing quality in either Reliable and systems-oriented; the coaching team depends on this person to keep schedules, records, and data flowing accurately behind the scenes Natural team supporter who notices what coaches need before they ask; whether that's a resource, a referral connection, or a listening ear after a hard session Committed to documentation excellence; understands that accurate Salesforce records are the foundation of neighbor continuity and organizational accountability Growth-oriented and coachable; actively seeks feedback from the Coaching Manager and sees this role as a pathway toward deeper coaching practice Models Metrocrest's neighbor-first values in every interaction with coaches, neighbors, and colleagues; leads from the front Owns assigned metrics as a personal measure of success; holds oneself accountable for achieving, tracking, and reporting on performance targets MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, education, public administration, or a related OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Minimum 3 years of experience working with individuals or families experiencing economic hardship in roles such as case management, coaching, workforce development, or social services Minimum 1 year of experience as a team lead (supporting direct manager and assisting with process oversight) Demonstrated ability to support individuals in setting and achieving personal or professional goals Experience working with diverse populations in a community-based or nonprofit setting Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual English/Spanish? Experience using coaching models/framework Training or certification in motivational interviewing, coaching, or executive functioning development.? Experience in workforce development, financial capability, housing stability programs, or education pathways.? Experience using data-driven coaching tools or participant progress tracking systems.? Knowledge of community resources related to employment, housing, healthcare, and financial stability.? SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Working knowledge of assessment tools including administration, goal-setting, progress tracking, and session documentation? Foundational understanding of all five SDOH pillars (Income, Health & Food, Workforce, Education, Housing) and how they interact within a whole-household coaching plan? Familiarity with trauma-informed and strengths-based coaching frameworks; ability to apply both in a community-based, non-clinical setting? Familiarity with Salesforce for session documentation, resource connection tracking, and pathway progress recording? Working knowledge of community resources across SDOH domains;?enough to identify when a resource connection is needed and who to loop in from the Specialist or Expert tier? PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry an active neighbor caseload under the supervision and guidance of the Coaching Manager; deliver whole-household coaching sessions aligned to domain goals Assist the Coaching Manager in day-to-day coaching pool operations, scheduling sessions, managing coach calendars, tracking caseload assignments, and flagging capacity issues Maintain accurate and timely Salesforce documentation for all caseload sessions, resource connections, and pathway progress notes Support assessment administration, assist coaches with data entry, progress updates, and report generation as directed by the Coaching Manager Serve as a first-line resource for the coaching pool on operational questions, where to find resources, how to document a service, how to initiate a resource connection Participate in coaching team huddles, case consultations, and reflective practice sessions; contribute observations from own caseload to team learning Monitor outcome data entry for the coaching pool; flag missing documentation and follow up with coaches to ensure Salesforce records are current and complete Coordinate client pathway data for reporting, compile session counts, assessment progress metrics, and resource connection activity for review Support the Coaching Manager in onboarding new coaches to Metrocrest's documentation standards, assessment protocols, and coaching framework Own all assigned metrics; responsible for achieving performance targets, tracking progress on an ongoing basis, and reporting outcomes to leadership This role primarily works from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and requires occasional evening and weekend attendance based on program needs.
