Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, focusing on patients' musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation goals.
• Assist patients during therapeutic exercises, guiding them through functional activities and mobility training with personalized attention.
• Administer physiotherapy modalities, such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapies, to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor and accurately document patient progress in clinical records, maintaining professional standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Educate patients on effective home exercise programs and injury prevention methodologies to support long-term recovery.
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure that each patient receives coordinated and efficient care at every stage of their rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients who are undergoing rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California.
