Manual Machinist – Full Time

Kenner, LA

Pay: $35.00 – $45 per hour (based on experience)

I’m looking to bring on an experienced Manual Machinist for our Kenner shop. This is a 100% manual machining role —no CNC work at all. If you know your way around a manual lathe and mill, take pride in your work, and want steady, long‑term employment, this is a solid opportunity.

• Set up and run manual lathes, mills, drill presses , and other shop equipment
• Machine and repair parts to print and tolerance
• Read blueprints and work orders
• Inspect your own work using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Keep machines, tools, and work area clean and safe

• 3+ years of hands‑on manual machining experience
• Strong skills on manual lathes and mills
• Able to read prints and hold tight tolerances
• Reliable, safety‑minded, and takes pride in craftsmanship
• Experience with steel and industrial components preferred

• $35.00–$45/hr , depending on experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenner, LA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.50/hr.
