About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required in a large urban hospital setting. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. ACLS certification strongly preferred. Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required. Must have experience managing drips. Candidates should have recent Level 1 trauma work history. Description: This position requires flexibility to float to various units as needed. Candidates must be prepared to float frequently to meet staffing needs. Travelers may be assigned to a different campus if required. All RNs are required to wear designated scrubs. A nicotine-free policy is in place. Travelers must work 4 weekend shifts out of 8 in a 4-week period. Requests for time off must be submitted with the application. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Local candidates will not be considered. Pending license applications are accepted, but travel must be booked well in advance. Daily patient ratios will vary. Interdisciplinary support is available on the unit. All candidates are expected to participate in patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role may involve managing various medical techniques and procedures. It is essential to have strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
