Warehouse LeadWe're looking for a motivated and dependable Warehouse Lead to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in coordinating shipping, receiving, picking, and other warehouse priorities while serving as a primary point of contact for your assigned team and work area. If you're a hands-on leader who enjoys motivating and supporting a team while keeping warehouse operations on track, this role is for you.What You'll DoPerform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking for shipmentsLoad and unload products from trucks, trailers, containers, docks, and storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipmentBreak down, separate, and receive incoming shipmentsAccurately check received materials against expected shipments and quantitiesMove products to storage areas using proper equipment and safely stack and store raw materialsMaintain inventory control by determining product availability, completing cycle counts and regular inventory counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory recordsPrepare products by separating materials and marking products with identifying informationPut products away while tracking lots and expiration dates and maintaining efficient storagePick and stage materials based on production needs and ensure required materials are available for productionWork cross-departmentally with production, sanitation, maintenance, and other departments to support operational needsSet the tone and establish a culture of respect, hard work, consistency, teamwork, and effective communication within and outside of the departmentDirect the team, provide guidance, and maneuver staff to make the team as efficient as possibleObserve and assist with loading and unloading products from trailers, docks, and storage areasSort, stack, shelve, pack, wrap, tie, and label products according to company procedures while maintaining organized inventory, particularly during peak demandTransport items from the warehouse or freezer to various departments or the dock as neededEnsure products are stored in their proper locations and enforce FIFO practices with team members, particularly for dairy productsEnsure team members exercise extreme care and follow safety procedures when operating forklifts in populated areasUse computer systems to enter data into the inventory control management system and assist with preparing inventory-related reports and documentsMaintain hands-on involvement with the EATEC ERP system, including overseeing and executing proper inventory movements, counts, transfers, and MA processesMonitor team overtime, schedules, breaks, lunches, and work hours and help improve deficiencies and areas of concernMaintain effective communication across the required communication channels during work hoursFollow company standards and applicable legal regulations to maintain a safe and positive working environmentFollow and promote proper GMPs when working within food production areas or handling food productsCorrect or report food safety issues as requiredFollow all required safe work and food safety practicesEnsure pallets are properly stacked and securely wrapped, forklifts are operated with seat belts, and team members wear required PPE in designated areasMaintain a clean and organized work area and equipment by regularly removing empty pallets, wood, and plasticBe responsive to operational needs and provide effective communication across different media channels during work hoursHandle special projects and complete assigned projects with minimal supervisionFill in for special roles or tasks left behind by the Supervisor, Manager, and/or DirectorPerform other duties as assignedWhat You BringAbility to work a flexible schedule, including varied shifts and weekend workGood attendance and punctualityAbility to work overtime when requiredAbility to set priorities, problem-solve, work under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a team to accomplish required workAbility to read, count, follow basic instructions, and apply basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplicationAbility to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesStrong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-starter who can take responsibility for common routines and work through others to accomplish the workEffective communication and customer service skillsTeamwork-oriented mindsetAbility to read and understand basic English at approximately 75% capacityAbility to write and speak basic English at approximately 25% capacityIntermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookKnowledge of GMPsMinimum of 1 year of experience using ERP systemsMinimum of 1 year of experience using forklifts and electric pallet jacks, with an emphasis on cold/wet working environments, or equivalent experience of at least 2 years using forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a dry working environment or warehouseMinimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or food production environment;
