Junior Accountant
Robert Half
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with at least 2 years of experience in general accounting to support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly close activities , including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Support audits by preparing requested documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting
- Experience with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar) preferred
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data analysis)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
