Junior Accountant

Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $68,000.00/yr About the Company: We are a well-established organization seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This role offers exposure to the full accounting cycle and the opportunity to contribute to accurate financial reporting in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Perform daily accounting tasks with a focus on debts and credits, prepaids, and accruals Assist with the preparation and analysis of profit & loss statements and balance sheets Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all journal entries are recorded accurately and timely Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies Partner with the Accounts Payable team to ensure proper expense recognition and coding Assist with audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation Identify and suggest improvements to processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1–3 years of accounting experience, ideally with a background in Accounts Payable Strong understanding of accounting principles including GAAP Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar preferred) Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us Opportunity to grow and develop within the accounting and finance function Exposure to both transactional and higher-level accounting activities Supportive team culture within a stable, long-standing company #J-18808-Ljbffr Hire Point Recruiting
