About the Position :
Our client is looking for a Junior Accountant on a temp-to-perm basis to join our growing team in New York City. As a member of the Finance Department, they will play a crucial role in supporting the financial activities of the company.

Our client is looking for a Junior Accountant on a temp-to-perm basis to join our growing team in New York City. As a member of the Finance Department, they will play a crucial role in supporting the financial activities of the company.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including preparation and posting of journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, accounts payable, and management reporting processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and interim reports and the annual report.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.
- Assist with audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least two to three years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and practices.
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
- Willingness to learn business and new processes.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Reval and/or Oracle products a plus.
