Shuttle Driver - Westin LAX (CDL w/Passenger Endorsement Required) $22.65/HR

Job Summary The Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting guests to and/or from the hotel, hospital or casino and local area in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner using safe driving practices. The driver also assists guests with luggage, maintains vehicle activity and maintenance logs, and upholds guest confidentiality. Responsibilities Shuttle guests to approved destinations, learning and remembering pick‑up and drop‑off points (40%). Communicate courteously via telephone, two‑way radio, and in person; greet guests within 30 seconds and use proper salutation and guest’s last name when appropriate (20%). Operate a vehicle that seats sixteen or more; inspect the vehicle daily for operational safety, document malfunctions, and submit reports (20%). Maintain guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA; protect client financial and identifying information and assist with wheelchairs when required (20%). Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement; valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old; must pass criminal background, MVR, and drug screen. At least 3 years of commercial driving experience or 9 years of overall driving experience. Manual transmission driving capability. Completion of Towne Park Wheelchair Safety Training and possession of a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate. Maintain up‑to‑date license, DOT endorsements, and a bi‑annual physical exam where applicable. Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills; comprehension of 24‑hour time systems and time‑based rates; ability to write simple correspondence and present information to guests and coworkers. Work Schedule Monday through Sunday; overnight shifts receive a $1 shift differential. Compensation & Benefits Hourly base pay of $22.65 plus tips.
