Identity and Access Manager

Job Title Identity and Access Manager (2600404) Position Summary The Identity and Access Manager is an integral part of the Stony Brook Southampton IS team, reporting to the Director of IS. This position is part of the SBMIT IAM team, which supports the management of our Identity and Access Management solutions for Stony Brook Medicine, inclusive of four hospitals and numerous clinical and non‑clinical locations across Long Island. The focus is on sites on the east end of Long Island. The role includes provisioning of user accounts, terminations and changes. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, multitasking and analytical skills, and be able to work independently and in a team. Flexibility to a work schedule that may require after‑hours and weekend support is required. Responsibilities Creation and management of user accounts, home folders and network shares. Provide timely response and follow‑up for day‑to‑day Help Desk tickets and support issues. Active Directory account, group and OU maintenance. Maintain existing scripts and automated jobs. Provide support for account and access related issues. Provide support for remote access solutions. Maintain documentation and runbooks for the Identity Management department. License management and assignment for Office 365. Provision clinical application access. Required Experience and Qualifications Associate’s degree or 2+ years’ experience in Information Technology. 2 or more years’ experience in Active Directory Management. 2 or more years’ experience in user account administration. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for identity and access issues. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills and teamwork. Proficient in MS Office products. Ability to write and/or edit scripts. Critical thinking skills and attention to detail. Preferred Experience and Qualifications Experience with clinical user access, including Cerner, Eclipsys and PACS. Experience with vendor remote access software. Travel and Other Requirements As part of employment at Southampton Hospital, there may be occasions when travel to other locations is needed to support operational needs. Complete electronic reference check with a minimum of three professional references. Successfully complete a 4‑panel drug screen. Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre‑employment screenings.
