A respected private practice in the Napa / Sonoma California area is hiring a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join its established cardiac anesthesia team. This is a rare chance to practice cardiac anesthesia in Northern California wine country, with a partnership track and compensation of $750,000 to $900,000 per year.

About the Cardiac Anesthesiology Position: You will join a cohesive team of five to six cardiac anesthesiologists who cover a varied, engaging mix of cardiac and structural heart cases. Cardiac work takes place at two hospitals, with vacation coverage at a third, and physicians rotate between sites as needed.

Case Mix and Clinical Responsibilities:

• Off-pump cardiac surgery (OPCAB), performed by the cardiac anesthesia team only
• Structural heart program including TAVR, Watchman left atrial appendage closure, and MitraClip
• Electrophysiology (EP) lab cases
• Intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• General anesthesia cases between cardiac assignments for a balanced, varied schedule

Call Schedule: Cardiac call is shared only among the cardiac anesthesia team. Call frequency varies with team schedules and case volume, and details are reviewed during the interview process.
