Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting school-age students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a thriving educational setting. This position is full-time, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and a scheduled end date of June 17th, 2027.

As part of this collaborative and caring school community, you’ll work with a diverse caseload of students, partnering with teachers and families to help each child achieve their goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Maryland SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
• Prior experience in a school setting providing direct therapy to school-age children is advantageous
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Innovative, flexible approach to therapy and caseload management

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations
• Consult, collaborate, and communicate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Develop goals and document student progress according to district and legal guidelines
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary problem-solving
• Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
