Event Assistant - Entry Level

As an Events Assistant, you’ll connect with the community, support events hands-on, and use face-to-face marketing to drive donor sign-ups, giving you real experience in sales, fundraising, and making an impact. Key Responsibilities Participate in daily one-on-one and team training sessions to review goals, performance metrics, and upcoming events. Set up event kiosks, signage, and displays in high-traffic areas to maximize engagement. Approach and engage community members in a friendly, authentic manner to share stories about our nonprofit partners. Inspire contributions and encourage participation in fundraising activities (a portion of your role includes sales/converting interest into donations). Collaborate with team members to optimize donor engagement and fundraising results. Take initiative to suggest improvements in messaging, engagement strategies, or event setup. Contribute to a positive, high-energy team environment during events and team meetings. Qualifications Ambitious, competitive, and positive attitude.
