Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:30–08:00) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume MS/Tele-ER border setting, managing a wide variety of complex ED admission diagnoses
• Manage a patient census ranging from a minimum of 10 up to 40 border patients daily within a 46-room unit at a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float as required between ED border areas and extender units including MS/Telemetry and IMC units, within specialty and scope
• Deliver care to border patients encompassing ER, MS/Telemetry, and IMC acuity levels within a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to scheduled holiday requirements and every-other-weekend rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN state license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association only
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association only
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification – The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
• Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility address (local candidates under 50 miles are not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a border, high-census, or fast-paced emergency department or MS/Telemetry environment
• Comfort with floating across units within scope, with no scheduling restrictions or special float requests
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
