Administrative:

• Observe given office hours
• Responsible for taking phone calls and logging these calls
• Responsible for relaying work orders, message, appointments, etc. to the manager
• Be available to perform site/file reviews with financing authority
• Monitor complex to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed to maintain standards for safety, quality and overall company and tenant satisfaction.
• Provide a high level of service to prospective tenants, tenants, vendors, and coworkers.
• Respond to all emails and phone calls in a timely manner
• Observe all company personnel, quality, and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Leasing:

• Perform showings of units to prospective tenants.
• Secure, distribute and maintain applications for long-term leases
• Assist applicants with preparation of applications, when necessary
• Assist verifying all applicant information as directed
• Responsible for maintaining accurate leasing records and applications that are pending approval
• Verify with manager that units are ready for showing
• Prepare traffic report

Resident Relations:

• Monitor community to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed to maintain standards for safety, quality, and overall company and tenant satisfaction
• Assists with annual recertification paperwork when directed.
• Inspect grounds and facility routinely to determine repair needs.

Position Summary:

The Leasing Agent is responsible for assisting the Property Managers in performing all duties and functions required for efficient leasing of Costello Properties. A Leasing Agent acts as the community's sales representative whose primary duties are to greet clients, to present professionally the community and properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons. This is a very service-oriented position that strives to make current residents feel welcome in their community.

People that are successful in this position have:

• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous administrative/clerical and regulatory experience.
• Proven sales experience.
• Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work independently while staying on task.
• A drive to be successful.
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• Must be punctual and reliable.

Requirements:

• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
• Must be willing to use personal vehicle to travel between properties.

Salary Description:

$15.50 - $16.00
