Job Description Job Description Sullivan Dental Partners is growing and we are looking to add a hard working assistant to our practice! If you are a go getter who loves to jump into all sorts of dentistry then this is the practice for you. We have a fast paced, super fun team, and have tons of opportunity within our practice to excel! We are a state of the art practice that has brand new equipment, CEREC, 3D Imaging & printing, and can do everything from cleanings, fillings, root canals and same day crowns to smile makeovers, full mouth implants and so much more! Experience is required, and surgical experience is even better! We are an established practice that has been in Brentwood since 1970 with over 800 “5 star” google reviews! Responsibilities Welcome customers in the dental office Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort throughout the process Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Digital Photography Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment Present treatment plans Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Open Dental Experience is great but not required Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Willingness to learn and be coached Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) Company Description Sullivan Dental Partners is a practice where "everybody knows your name."
